Ana Marques da Silva has a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures – Portuguese and French Studies – with a specialization in translation. She completed her Masters in Teaching Portuguese and French in Secondary Education at the School of Social and Human Sciences at the New University of Lisbon, with the dissertation ‘Poetry in the Teaching of Languages’. She dedicated herself to the theater and the visual arts, and has worked as a journalist, cultural programmer and teacher. She holds a doctoral scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and is currently a student in the PhD Program in Advanced Studies in the Materialities of Literature at the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Coimbra, where she is writing a thesis on generative poetics. Her research interests are focused on literary theory and digital culture.
