Project was made with Sindee Nakatani and Christina Mcphee in 2005. The work looks at the similarities in trauma in the mind and memory and in the soil and in seismology.
It is now permanently archived in the digital art collection of the Whitney museum in New York.
The work runs animations of splintered graphics, sound files and bits of digital poetry I wrote based on memories told to me of the Northridge earthquake. The numerical values of a quake data scan determine sequencing of the works thus forming a collaboration between artists and the landscape itself.
