Fox Harrell has explored the depths of the ocean and combined them with the everyday work life. “A sinking life to placate bureaucrats,” This “sinking life” tells the story of a worker in a place of being lost or buried by the work that they must produce. The central theme in this story correlates with the graphics and texts to tell the story of a mundane life and how emotions affect everyday actions. The texts upward motion give the effect of dividing into the deep ocean. Its Atlantean theme emphasis’ on its poetic nature to create metaphors of an unfulfilling lifestyle, while the sea creature displayed is the character that continues to grow. Some pictures also have vibrant color’s, they just take a closer look to see past the fog. This narrative keeps the user engaged while analyzing the text and how society can alter the mind.
